Today NIFTY touch 6200 level ,bank nifty up while IT stock down| nse gainer and stock trading tips

The Nifty recovered from day's low and was placed above 6,200 mark as some buying activity picked up in frontline IT, metals and capital goods stocks. The trade is expected to remain range bound with stock specific action in absence of triggers from global markets

At 09:50 a.m the 50-share index was at 6,216.10, up 11.15 points or 0.18 per cent. The index touched intraday high of 6,220.10 and a low of 6,187.90 in early trade.

The S&P BSE Sensex was at 20,918.68, up 24.79 points or 0.12 per cent. It touched a high of 20,948.91 and a low of 20,849.78 in trade today.

The  Bank Nifty faces immediate resistance around the 10,900 levels on the upside and an immediate Support at 10,550 levels on the downside.
