Today
in Indian market rupee breaches the 63 rupees mark against dollar
falling sharply by 60 paise and to trade above 63.07 on strong demand
,rupee had depreciated by at six paise to close an six weeks low of
62.47 against dollar in last session.
The
BSE
Sensex
declined
over 183 points in early trade today, extending losses for the fifth
straight session as funds and retail investors engaged in reducing
positions amid a weakening rupee.
The
30-share barometer, which had lost 573.21 points in the past four
sessions, fell by 183.74 points, or 0.88 per cent, to 20,482.41.
in
the Asian region, Japan's Nikkei Index was up 1.33 per cent, while
Hong Kong's Hang Seng index gained 0.15 per cent in early trade.
Stocks
of banking, realty, capital goods, metal, auto, oil and gas sectors
are the major losers.
